Regional Accreditation

Webster University is on the Open Pathway 10-Year Cycle for Higher Learning Commission accreditation. Our comprehensive visit took place in March 2018, as part of the Year 10 set of reaffirmation activities. Please click the icon below for information about our HLC accreditation.

One component of the 10-year reaffirmation of accreditation is the completion of an assurance argument, in which Webster University documents, and provides evidence of, the ways in which the institution meets HLC’s Criteria for Accreditation.

Here is the assurance argument submitted to HLC on Feb. 19, 2018. Phrases in blue indicate where evidence was provided to the review team in the online system, however, the links are not active in the document. International Accreditations

Webster University maintains country-specific accreditations at some of its international branch campuses and additional locations.  Webster University is accredited in Austria, Thailand, Ghana, and Greece by the appropriate bodies.  In these countries, the accreditation covers Webster programs offered at the campuses. In the Netherlands, accreditation covers programs rather than institutions; at the Leiden campus, two undergraduate programs, one in business and one in social sciences/psychology, are accredited by the Netherlands-Flemish Accreditation Agency.  Webster seeks and maintains country-specific accreditations where it fits with mission and strategic direction and where it will offer advantages for students, including opportunities in the job market.
