International Education Week 2020 Schedule
International Education Week (IEW) is an annual nation-wide celebration of international education and exchange. It is an opportunity to "celebrate the benefits of education and exchange worldwide," as defined by the US Department of State (https://iew.state.gov/) . In order to further Webster University's global mission, and celebrate its international community, a number of events will take place at Webster during IEW 2020. All faculty, staff and students are welcome to participate in the programming.

Monday, November 16
Self-Care Workshop
4pm-5:30pm (CET, Leiden Time)
Discuss self-care myths and experience a self-care meditation. Led by Kate Avs, Webster
Leiden Counselor.

Tai Chi Lesson
12pm-12:40pm (CST, St. Louis Time)
Learn basic movements, breathing practices, and philosophy of the ancient art of Tai
Chi. Participants will broaden their intercultural awareness and capture the spirit
of International Education Week. The session will be led by Master Violet Li, a 12th
Generation Chen Style Tai Chi Inheritor and award-winning Tai Chi and Qigong journalist
with a global readership in over 40 countries. She has taught thousands of people
both locally and nationwide and trained over several dozen instructors.

Ghana Information Session

Awesome Athens Street Art Virtual Walk (Airbnb Online Experience)

Join us for an interactive virtual walk around six alternative Athenian neighborhoods,
where you will learn about the history and evolution of Athen's street art and culture.
You'll hear the inside stories of some of the most iconic masterpieces, both large
and small, and learn about real Athens, beyond the tourist spots and famous antiquities.
